Panoramic views of the coastline are a joy to behold on this picturesque scenic drive.
Regarded by many as one of the world’s most scenic drives, you won’t regret touring the peninsula via this remarkable engineering feat. Hugging the mountainside for 9km and perched over the waters of the Atlantic, my advice is to stop often, take plenty of pictures and soak up the picture perfect 180-degree views. Factor in time on either side – for me this drive is synonymous with stopping in at the Chapman's Peak Restaurant for calamari and chips and an ice-cold beer. A walk on Noordhoek Beach is a refreshing reward after all 114 curves in the road.

There are various prices for different vehicles. Prices start at 19 Rand for motorcycles and 30 Rand for a light motor vehicle.
Expert tips:
Check road closures before setting out on your drive - bad weather can cause rock falls and subsequent road closures.
